MUSIC.

MY STORY
PASSION

I’m a percussionist and music educator from San Antonio, Texas. My musical style blends Mexican, Tejano, and other Latinx traditions with jazz, funk, and lofi.

I utilize unconventional instrumentation and electronics to create dynamic experiences for diverse audiences.

I’ve toured across 6 continents, performing in solo, orchestral, musical theater, opera, and chamber music settings.

I have performed in world-renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Berklee Performing Arts Center, and DiMenna Center for the Arts.

I’m the Cofounder of EnRoot Ensemble, a cello and percussion group that celebrates Black and Latinx composers, transforming classical music through community, education, and empowerment.

I am deeply committed to providing culturally responsive and equitable musical opportunities around the world. I’ve led masterclasses for community-based music education organizations such as:

Musicians Without Borders in Rwanda

Central American Percussion Festival in Panama

El Sistema San Salvador with MusAid in El Salvador

Now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I maintain an active freelance performance schedule throughout New England and co-lead the Cambridge Youth Gamelan ensemble.
